2000 Sonoma flooding

Working on a 2000 Sonoma 2.2 flex running so rich it will blacken the plugs in less than a minute so far have checked

fuel pressure = 48 psi while not running
pressure holds when shut off
has a fuel comp sensor high code been there for months though
if I pull fuel pump relay it will run better until runs out of gas
