My Blazer runs fine but occasionally floods (or vapor locks) when starting. If I let it sit for 10 minutes it will fire up fine and I'm on my way again. It doesn't seem to matter if the engine is warm or cold, morning or evening, raining or sunny. It just seems to happen when I'm in a hurry and have to get somewhere.
Spent $400.00 having a new fuel pump installed (mechanic was sure this was the problem) to no avail. Any thoughts? |

Re: 2000 Blazer Floods at Random
Check your fuel pressure regulator.
