Tamiya Nissan 180SX

Hi, how are you?

Some time ago i was asking about the front bumper versions of the nissan 180, the thing is that i started this kit and i forgot to opena thread here...

My kit comes with this front bumper....that im going to modify

A couple of shots

This is going to be the color for the car...Nautilius Blue the color is from the Renault Megane

To modify the front bumper i took the easy way and i cut it

Maybe i will put some kind of lip

Some sanding...

I cutt the original exhaust, im going to do a custom one with evergreen

Then i started with the interior

More interior work...door panels (sorry for the quality, i took them with my cell phone)

Maybe i putt some kind of GPS thing here on the dashboard

Then the pimer came...

and finally yesterday i started with the suspension and exhaust

Oxigen sensor

2nd part of the exhaust

general view

And suspension work...

Well...thats all i hope you like it

That's quite a lot of work you are putting into this one. There was a moment where i was thinking "damn, is there anything not homemade on this car...?"

Keep it up!

How can you buy the old version of 180SX? Ebay or? I can only buy the re-release version.

Yes, you can check at ebay or if you want you can check some web site of model cars from argentina, because here is the most common model of 180SX that you can find

Re: Tamiya Nissan 180SX

Nice work on the underbody! Don't rush it, give it all the time that it needs.
I had some doubts on the zenki/kouki mix for the front end, but it turned out very well!
Great decision not to add a front license plate.
