My local hobby shop has a decent Fujimi 180SX with a custom body kit, but I was thinking of picking up the Tamiya version instead. It comes with hubcaps though, ugly looking!! Anybody have a pair of rims they'd be willing to lend me?

On second thought, I could just use the extra five spoke rims included with my Lancer Evo VI Rally kit

Turbos, jay is wrong the s2000 is one by 'Marga Hills', i think it looks quite neat - not too over the top - and those side skirts look cool! Im also making the veiside tonneau cover for it which ive almost finished. Im really pleased with it coz i feel ive captured the shape well, and its able to just drop into place like the standard one in the kit.
Jay i am doing the mugen bonnet and hardtop for it and i plan on making the rest of the bodykit after this one is completed.
Anyway here are a few pics of wot im on about...

As for the question about the fujimi 180sx, the reason i asked is because the bodykit im working on for that is nearly finished and looking good if i say so myself! The thing is that mine is the tamiya kit which i believe is now discontinued?? Now hopefully most of u have heard about my 'Scaleautostyle' project which means that everything ive mentioned above will be available to buy as transkits. But to get to the point about the fujimi 180sx is that id like to offer the bodykit free of charge to someone who has one to see if the bodykit can be fixed to that kit. If anyone is willing to give it a go then let me know, it should be totally finished and casts made by the end of next month (sooner hopefully!). The only condition to this is that i would want to see pics of the finished model. Here are a couple of pics of the real thing upon which its based, its a kit by Bomex, my version has the sides and rear bumper but the front end ive based on a Bomex MR2 kit not seen here.

I'd be more than happy to get a Fujimi 180SX just to try out your kit!

I've already ordered 3 different 180Sx's from HLJ. It was processed about 3 weeks ago, so they should be here soon. I'd be glad to help with your project. Drop me a line at [email protected].

Cheers guys your help will be most apreciated. But be warned if u have not had a transkit before coz lets just say they are perhaps for the more experienced modeler as they require alot of work. I am trying to make these as user friendly as possible but the work involved may be more so if it is to fit the fujimi kits. Anyway i promise that i will keep hold of your details and get in touch by email when its ready to go, thanks again. By the way are u both able to take pictures?
