All Injectors do not get ground from PCM.

Hello ALL.
I am new to this forum I am in need of help on my T-Bird. Recently it was getting harder and harder to crank. The finally it just died . It would not even attempt to start. It will crank all day but no start. I have spark, fuel preasure at rail is perfect, No engine light. But what i did find is the injectors are not getting the ground needed from PCM. So I replaced with a new one. And that did not do any thing. So I put gas in throttle and it would start but only for a few seconds unless i kept pouring it in. So I grounded all 4 driver side injectors manually and it would give gas to cylinders and run for a little. What could cause this chatastrophy?? It is prom weekend and I wanna get laid.. but looks like I wont . Please help.

Welcome to the forum thund3rchick3n. Sounds like you have a bad ground connection to the PCM. I don't know what year you have but on a '97 there is a ground point on the LH upper radiator support in front of the battery and there is also a connector near it that you should also check the condition of the contacts.

I have the 1995 4.6L. Yeah I cleaned the 2 that are on the radiator support. But Do you know Where the other one is? And I didnt check the condition of the wires. Is it possible it could be the ground wire on the motor mount?

Re: All Injectors do not get ground from PCM.

Follow the black wire from the radiator support and it should go to a connector down in front of the battery. From that connector two black with white tracers go to the PCM. There is another ground from the PCM that goes to the secondary junction block (SJB) to the right of the steering column under the dash. It should be a pink with an orange tracer wire. This is in C237 on th SJB. Your best bet is to go to your local library and look in the 1994 Mitchell Electrical Manual to find the wiring diagram for your year Bird. I know the wire colors can be different between the years so I can't be sure the colors I gave you are correct for a '94. Check all of the connections on the SJB to be sure they are clean and tight.
