Renault Alpine A110 Gr. 4

Hello, this kit took me nearly half a year. I decided to buy this kit when I saw this car on Eifel rally in Germany but at that time was this transkit sold out. Two years later Scaleproduction made reedition and I bought body #2. Transkit is excellent, especially metal rims. I didn´t find right color shade so I used white surfacer and French blue from ModelMaster. I didn´t find any problems during build, body fits to Tamiya chasis.
I should alert to one thing - black window strip is shorter than window, who cares

Superb build, well done. I like the heat reflective material on the engine cover. Is it cigarette packet foil?
Regards, Steve.

Re: Renault Alpine A110 Gr. 4

Wow perfect result !!
Color seems fine and accurate to me, that wasn't the metalli cblue in 74, but the french blue.
I started the yellow version myself years ago, still have to finish it, (decided to fully detail the engine but still miss to clear some points on this 75's version, especially the valve cover use and color - mignotet or renault ??) but I can only agree, this Scale Production TK is what we should find more often on the rally scale models market, simply perfect !!
And you greatly shwo what we can get from it with your beautiful model.
