Parts help for 1996 Geo Tracker 4dr, 2wd

Hi folks,
So after 15 years my 1996 4door, 2wd, utterly reliable Tracker is starting to have things wear out. The first thing that has gone is the center carrier bearing on the driveshaft.

I've called around (including GM dealer) and they say it's unavailable. Bizarrely, after giving them the VIN, their info says that the 2wd model has a one-piece driveshaft, and that only the 4wd had the 2-piece driveshaft!!! Can anyone shed some light on this?

Anyone know of a source for this bearing?

Cheers,
Michael Doyle

Do a search for Southwest Suzuki, get the phone number, and ask for Parts Manager Keith Sexton.
