2002 to 1997....

Will a . from an 02 F150 go into a 97 F150? will it bolt up and do i just need the computer module?

Or will it be a pain int he BUT????

Seems like part of your question is missing ? Will a ( what ) from a '02 F150 fit a '97 F150 ?
