Thumbs up EGR monitoring software

What software can I download/buy that will allow me to monitor the status of EGR signal in my OBD-II car?

I want to know if it the PCM is sending signal to the EGR to actuate, also by how much.

I have a OBD-II to USB connector (ELM5).

Re: EGR monitoring software

There are several freeware OBD-II PC software tools available for download and I would expect most would allow access to the EGR position information, assuming your car has and EGR position sensor. For the versions that are free, why not download them and check them out? If none of them seem to offer visibility to the EGR position and you are confident your car is enabled with a position sensor, then you might need to "upgrade" to manufacturer-specific access that some of the software tools offer.
