ALDL Monitoring Software
I built an ALDL-Serial cable years ago for my 94 Impala SS, but none of the software that has a dashboard seems to work with the L01 engine.
Questions: Does anyone know of any ALDL software that is verified to work with a 1994 Chevy Suburban 2500 4WD 5.7 Can someone tell me what the Body Type and/or ECU type this vehicle has? Any help is appreciated. |

Re: ALDL Monitoring Software
I think you need an OBDII system which came in 1996 or 97 for real time display?

Nah, I'm getting real time data now, but it's all numerical. I got a line graph with datamaster that fluctuates in real time but I would like some gages that I can drag around the desktop like freescan has

Re: ALDL Monitoring Software
I used WinALDL (http://winaldl.joby.se/) on my 90 GMC K1500. They show support for your 94 on their website (ECM = 16144288).
