2004 lincoln naviagator

What would be a good price for a 2004 4x4 naviagator with 45000 miles that has been setting for 3 years not started? Would it be wise to stay away from it alot of air bag complaints on here?

Re: 2004 lincoln naviagator

Well, I'd start by asking WHY it's been sitting for 3 years...

Re: 2004 lincoln naviagator

Agreed. It was parked for some reason. Possibly a problem that was very expensive to ffix, such as a bad transmission.

Furthermore, sitting for so long will mean a fair bit of repair and maintenance is needed. At the very least, new brake pads and rotors all around, possibly new tires, drain and flush the fuel tank and fuel system, engine oil and coolant change etc.

You would have to asses the condition of the vehicle and deduct the cost of these repairs from the current market price.

Also, big SUV's are not too popular these days, with high gas prices and all.

Assuming its in good shape, no rust, no crash damage, and generally in good mechanical shape, but needing some mantenance....... I would say $1000- 1500 is fair.
Add $500 - 1000 more if it runs and drives well with minimal repairs needed.

Never smoked in or eaten in. He had it detailed twice a year. Thanks for all your help.

Well, that makes it a pretty rare find, and worth a bit of a premium over the prices I gave.

If all that is true, than it sounds like a great deal and worth picking up, unless the price is way out of line.
