Lost my AC but where??

Ok 1992 2wheel drive blazer, votec v-6
getting a state inspection has been getting harder and harder, mainly due to NO one is duing them anymore and the ones that are duing them are pretty darn strick.Well my inside turnside signal light on the dash hasnt worked in at least 12yrs or more and was never a issue till last month. they wouldnt pass me due to that, Ok so got to pull the dash section out. took awhile and was a real pain but got the piece out was surprise that it was all ectrictronic, figured there be cables and wires conecting everything but just a strip sort of conection for the whole thing,
So cleaned it up but in new buld and put everything back together, First thing check was turnsignal dash and booyah it worked
So I put everything back together and thought eveything was good to go, Well a few days latter go to flip on the AC and nothing, no fan noice no nothing, checked fuse and it was fine, pulled other fuses thinking maybe they had some ties to the AC function but all were good.
So pulled the one section where fan switch and temp sliders are at and checked all conections and everything was hooked up right. So is it possible that somehow or somewhere else in this area is another conection that i might have pulled out???
any thoughts??? or due I need to unscrew everyting again and go hunting for something??

Re: Lost my AC but where??

Time to start tracing some wires...see if orange wire at ignition switch is hot when key is in "on" position...

Also see if there is power to a/c control head and report back.

Re: Lost my AC but where??

Got home a little early yester day and thought oh well might as well start on it , so I get the dash console out and looking at the conections, Figure I take some photos and post them on here to where to start.
So Im trying to get all the conctions lined up sort of where it will show up good in the photo Then all of sudden where did this one come from I didnt remember pluging this one into any thing, so I look and look and sure enough it was from the side of the slider
Plug it in and turned the key on fliped the slider to both fan and AC and Booyah everything works.
I still cant believe how good this blazer still runs, Im getting close to 420,000 on it now. My last MPG was 19.6 and that was running it at 75mph thier about to up the speed down here on this road to 80mph.
I went thur about 13 water pumps in the first couple of years then finally drilled a little bigger hole in the thermostat and havent had to change one in over 10yrs now. Replaced 1 altenator, 2 sets of front pads, back ones are still orginal. Other than plugs, wires, cap, rotor, one CPI spider, oh and 1 radiator its been the best reliable vehicle I have ever owned. AC still works great and I never had to add freon, transmisson is still working fine, and engine well still running strong, I dont drive it as much as I used to mainly due to fuel cost, got me a 1997 nissan sentra that gets 35+ mpg. But once the S-10 hits around 490k its going to get a paint job, its pretty faded now. stripes and all are all cracking.
