1996 Silverado 1500 "High Idles"

Hello all,
Just trying to get some info on a problem I'm having. As soon as I start my engine to my 1996 Silverado 1500 it high idles and will not stop high idleing. Don't know what is causing this and wanted some ideas on what it may be. Thanks in advance.

If the injectors/regulator are leaking you will get high idle..

the ECT may be out of range . this tells the computer what the engine temp is ..if it thinks is cold it will increase fuel to engine.PCV crankcase vent system needs checking for proper operation

the IAC may need replacing or cleaning with throttlle body cleaner.

check for vacuum leaks ..check for fuel pressure leak down on stoping engine .

give better details how high ? how long does it stay high ?

should be 600-700rpm.
