1999 Honda Civic EX starting issues please help!
I have a 1999 Honda Civic EX with a D16Y8 in it. I just bought this car not too long ago and just last weekend I did a tune up on it. So it has new spark plugs and wires. Also, I put in a new cap, button, module and coil in the distributor. The only problem I am having is getting it started in the morning. When I try to start it, it acts like its going to start but doesn't. I have to try it a couple times and hit the gas a little bit and then it will start, but it sputters like its going to shut off. I have to hit the gas a few times after that to get it to stop sputtering. After I get it started the first time, it will start and run fine the rest of the day. I am just trying to figure out what could be the reason for it not wanting to start in the morning. If any one could help me with this problem I would be very grateful. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!
