96 Lasabre won't crank
When I put the key in and turn it to start, the starter doesnt turn or make any noises. Lights are bright and they dont flinch (totally still bright) when I turn the key. Radio works fine with the key in the on position but the radio does go dead when turning the key to start. I had an issue with the starter turning very slow a couple weeks ago. I cleaned up the cables and it was fine after that. Now it doesnt turn or make any noises. The positive cable splits off. The end that goes to the inside of the car doesnt look so good. I yanked on it and the cable came out of the connector. I tried to crimp it back on and I thought it was making good contact but it still doesnt turn.

Re: 96 Lasabre won't crank
Got to have good, clean, tight connections at the battery- This would be the first thing I'd fix-- Both cables need to be checked- positive and negative....
