Volvo > 960/1997 DTC P0410
DTC P0410 - Secondary Air Injection System
Suspect - Relay/fuse (box B) loc 3 ,15amps Pump $434(new) / $243 (Remanufactured) / $95 (used,Ebay) solenoid $73 check valve $18 http://www.autopartswarehouse.com A new pump, or simulator! What signals the ECU, if the seconary Air Injection system isn't working? H20 sensors, if running rich > Xtime throw code! The pump only runs when the engine is cold, so the air & rich fuel mix is burnt in the exhaust manifold, so there's less Emission. Last edited by danielsatur; 03-03-2011 at 08:01 PM.

Not all newer cars have a Secondary Air Injection system (N/A), I need to suppress P0410.
How about a Powertuner Flash PCM delete P0410, but for how long? If the pump is working, it's probably the down stream H20 sensor. Last edited by danielsatur; 03-02-2011 at 10:11 PM.

If you reset/clear code, you might be able to sneak it through an inspection with one ''Inc''
or unreadiness. If 1996-Y2K, you can have 2-Inc test's to pass NC Federal Emission test. Last edited by danielsatur; 03-07-2013 at 07:14 PM.
