04 Cavliar wanna remove Headrests

hi i have a 2004 calivar and i wanna put car seat covers on but i need to get the head rest out how do u get them out? reason i ask is i need to get that plastic thing off that holds the seat belt.
the head rest slids up all the way but i cant see how u get it to pull out my gf has a 2003 sunfire and that came out

anyone know what to do to get the head rests out?

so still stuck does anyone know how to do it? is there a tool u need to push in to pop out the headrest?

Does your Cavi have headrests with two steel posts as guides? If so, you might get some help from this thread:

ya mine are the 2 bars i tried that didnt work spent an hour trying to do that they look different too a bit
any other help be great friging cars i tell ya lol

so kept trying that trick stil didnt work so that sucks is there a special ltool then?
