Transaxle mount
I have a 2001 Taurus and the transaxle mount that is visible throough the drivers side front tire looks offset so I assume it's bad and needs to be replaced. The Haynes manual says that for 200 and later models you have to drop the engine and tranny to replace.
 Can anyone confirm this If so what brilliant engineer came up with this idea
