Bumping/thumping noise underneath the dashboard

I have a 1998 Honda Passport. When the car hits a bumpy road in the highway,
I can hear a thumping/bumping noise underneath the middle of the dashboard. The sound is like something is lose and it's hitting a wall or floor in the dashboard area. I'm not sure if the lose part is inside or outside. I have no idea what could be lose.

I have the same issue with no solution yet. I've replaced the upper control arm bushings which were way shot and I was sure that would fix it but no luck.
My ball joints are new as well as the shocks and swaybar links. I suspect it's probably the lower control arm bushings on mine but it's hard to tell if they are bad or not by looking and prying. That's the only thing left though.

Let me know if you found the solution. I am tempted to open up the dashboard and check to see if the sound is coming from there. I also curious if the engine support could be the culprit. I'm going to get a mechanic take a look at it hopefully next week. I'll keep you posted.
