99 malibu speed sensor

I have a 99 malibu, Im trying to replace the input speed sensor for the transmission, but I cannot locate it. Any help would be appreciated. I know that the output speed sensor is on the passenger side on the housing by the axle. Thanks for any help

Re: 99 malibu speed sensor

It has come to my attention that the sensor is inside of the transmission. Has anyone else encountered this and is it accessible through the pan? Thanks for any help
