Chrysler TPS Readings
Is it normal for a Chrysler TPS to read around 14-15% when throttle closed and only around 75% WOT (engine off and key on)? My scan tool shows all three of my 98 Grand Caravan, 2001 Neon, and 2003 T&C with the same readings as indicated. Vehicles run fine. Reason I ask is I also have a 97 Chevy Lumina that reads 0% closed and 100% WOT. Is this just a chrysler thing? Wanted some advice as it seems unlikely I've got three bad sensors on three different Chrysler vehicles all giving me the exact same bad readings. Thanks

Re: Chrysler TPS Readings
Yes normal. Chrysler' are mostly a speed density system; no MAF ( mass air flow sensor). Your Lumina has a MAF which gives an input of the airflow into the engine. 2 completely different systems. Each work as they are designed and you don't have codes for TPS votage high so don't worry about it. System working as designed.
