Replace lower control arms.
I plan to replace both lower control arms in my 2002 Buick Regal LS in the next few days. In the GM repair manual, they recommend that the abs harness fasteners (to the lower control arms) should be replaced if they are not clean and free from rust. I decide to replace these fasteners for the peace of mind. Can anyone please tell me what the part number is and where I can buy these fasteners from? How many fasteners will I need to order for each control arm? Thanks.
The below picture shows the fastener circled in red:

Re: Replace lower control arms.
Thanks a lot. I have picked the similar ones from a local part store today.
I will also replace the front sway bar together with the lower control arms. Is it better to replace the sway bar first or the control arms first? Which one will make the job easier? Thanks again. |

Re: Replace lower control arms.
No, it's not rusted out yet. Since I'm there already doing the lower control arms, I also want to replace the stabilizer bar for a little bit better handling. I heard that the stock one is hollow and not as good as some aftermarket sway bars.
