no it can add up. here some reasons....

1.he prolly wasn't pushin as much boost

2. dosen't have slicks on, (or good street tires)

3.he has like 100 pounds in the back of his car.

but all we need is a timeslip and i'm sure it'll make a lot of people happy

yea i know, but say he runs around 20 psi on the track and 11-14 on the street, that's 90-60 less hp (considering that 1 psi is 10hp) plus he was on street tires, that's another 1-1 1/2 sec right there, if we are talkin about a crx that pushes 450-500 hp + at the track.

yeah, but remember he supposedly killed a stock Z06 that runs easy 12s with the same setup against this B16 CRX.

100lbs wont slow you down that much, only about a tenth of a second slower.

I want to know is why he's running on dryrotted tires. I thought this car was supposed to be some super sweet machine... and its rollin on some BTS tires? Interesting.

100 pounds in a car that has all of 160 horses....does slow you down.
its running dryrotted tires because my rims are being painted and i have old steelies on right now.
yes my other car is a "super sweet machine" or whatever but try driving a car around with a 4 puck springless hub clutch. not fun in the city. it CAN be driven around the street on saturday nights and whatnot, but that car see's the streets maybe 2 times a week.

well, thats what I thought, and thats what redneck said but then shhh_burn said "100 pounds in a car with all of 160 horses does slow you down" and it made it sound like a lot bigger difference than a tenth.
