I kept my promise, I told people that if they ever made a kit of a Prius, I'd build it. I did. It's a review model for Scale Auto, I never took photos until today since the editor shot it at our show in November right after I finished it.

If you can stomach the subject matter, it's a pretty good kit by Fujimi. Why it is so much better than their Ferrari 458 Italia, the world will never know but it does have similarly simplified door panels and floor pan w/integral seat bottoms, but better done than the Ferrari...the whole kit is better, though the rear wheels/tires being wider than the fronts is hilarious . Needs a pair of R26B 4-rotors to keep it JDM and sucking back fuel at a prodigious rate

Haha, nice work Bob!! Dont think there will be many of these kits build box stock, its just begging for some better wheels. Maybe we should have a compition & see who can make a Prius Cool

LMAO find Jeff Dunham's 'Blue frickin Prius' then there's the cloud of smug headed to AF from Southpark. Well built, I'm waiting for the Yugo kit though.

Thanks for the comments; they don't sell a light blue (3rd generation) Prius in the states, but the one on the boxart is, guess it is available in Japan. I used Tamiya pearl light blue, a Honda color. Seems appropriate, and not quite as boring as the white, beige, or silver they always are seen in.

Never heard about "the blue fricken Prius" but I totally understand
