2004 tacoma window latch problems??

I just bought a 2004 Tacoma extended cab with low mileage, and both quarter window latches are broken.
Is this a common problem?
Just wondering if I should spend the money to replace them or will the new ones just break as well??

Thanks, Nicholas

I don't think it's a common problem. I know the latches on my 04 have not caused any
problems. Someone must have abused yours.

Re: 2004 tacoma window latch problems??

I bought some billett aluminum replacements for the part that typically breaks on these quarter windows.
They worked great.
I sold that truck and have another now that needs the same part.
Anyone know who had these???

Many thanks
