2004 Silverado Rear View Mirror Restarts

Seems like evertime you hit a bump just right the rearview mirror (has temp, compass, airbag etc) shuts off and turns back on. its fine when on a smooth road, its not the connection at the mirror either. Which side of the truck does the wire run down I assume somewhere the ground or the 12v + is shorting out. I found a list of the colors of the wire and what each one does but did not talk about the path it runs. Thanks

tap on the mirror to be sure it is not the internal circuit.
