1998 Gronholm Corolla WRC - Bianchi Rally

Came across these photos of a Corolla Gronholm ran in the '98 Bianchi Rally.

His run ended when he hit a powerpole. There is a youtube video showing this happen from in car.

I am after more and hopefully clearer photos than these I have found.

The guy selling the decals on ebay has both scale if I'm not wrong, BTW I'll probably try to get the 1/24 ones, too.

Phil, are you able to scan those decals? I am actually wanting to convert a 1/18 diecast. Although I have worked out a lot of the detail, things like the small print on the bonnet plate I can not work out. Mind you, if you have a link to the guy selling the 1/24 decals, I would also be interested as it would look good next to my other 1/24 cars.

I'll see if I can scan the decal (my scanner refused to work last time I wanted to scan something) and I must check my Ebay history to find back the seller, if I remember well it's chas956 who opened a store there under another name and I purchased to his new nickname. But not 100% sure it's him...

Hi Malscar,

I tried to scan the decal but my scanner should be out of order as it refuses to work once again whereas other print function work...

But I think I found back the seller, his new Ebay nickname is startupmodels and here is an email where to write him: [email protected]

The rally plate on the bonnet is unfortunately not much detailed and very simple. I think the real original rally plate had more writings than what he reproduced.

I'll try my best to find a working scanner or at least take a pic of the decal sheet with my camera.
