when it rains it pours=-
yesterday it was pouring down rain. with the wipers on high speed driving me nuts i pulled under a closed gas station cover. i was gonna search for some "rain x" in the trunk to relieve the situation.
when i opened the door the 40 mph wind caught the door and NOW it,s screwed up. the door won,t close tight. it won,t open easily from in or out side . there,s a light chip of paint where the door scraps on the front fender. question = is it usually possible for a body shop guy to adjust the hinges? and some people wonder why i drink so much beer. |

Re: when it rains it pours=-
Usually when this happens the door frame where the hinges are attached is bent, this will take some massaging at a body shop.

yep. the hinges didn,t bend. the hinges are very much stonger than the door or the frame where the hinges connect. the body guy reffered to the frame and the door as the "post". he worked on the door for about 30 minutes. problem solved.
