Chassis #067 alive once again?

Bit of a stretch in the assumption department, but I believe this could be the first photo of a ressurected chassis #067. It was taken at a petrol station in Scotland back in September.

The photo was discovered by a friend of the program who sent it along to me wondering which car it might be. The plate is different than what #067 used to wear, but this is another Oregon plate and the old one was kind of melted if you recall.

Here's the link without much more to go on.

I've had that in my unassigned folder since 25/09/10 - not knowing the location and not recognising the number plate meant it's stayed there 'til now

Here's the link

Gosh - and you couldn't think of anyone in the world who could help you figure it out I guess?

The last little rumor I had heard was the repairs were due to be finished at the end of the summer. You might recall that the owner did a little trip around the UK back in 2008 when he had the car over there for servicing. I think both those things add to the possibility of it being that #067 again.

I had visions of 'another silver F1 in your unassigned Folder Greg?'

And yes, there are still a few unassigned silver F1's in there

Interesting article, thanks for posting! One thing I have always been curious about that this article brought to mind: It said they put 850 miles on the car. Does that count against show & display mileage limit of 2,500? I'm asking really as a hypothetical since this is an AmeriSpec car, but still... for those owners who have a refitting done or other major work back in Woking, can they actually enjoy the cars without the mileage worry whilst abroad?

I believe owners can document the mileage so that trips like this or track events don't count against them.

I also don't think anyone is watching the accounting of that stuff too closely. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong please.

OK, sounds good to me. Always wondered if the govt. sent out inspectors once a year or something. Between the F1s, Jag XJ220s, Bugatti EBs and Porsche 959s, how many cars could there be, really?
