2006 dodge 5.9 cummins

This truck is hard to start but runs fine after it gets going (some pumping of the fuel pedal needed to start)
It is on block heater each night.

Any ideas appreciated.
Thanks

Cheers

Disconnect one battery over night then check the voltage of both batteries in the morning. Less than 12.6 volts is bad.

my RPS sensor caused that..
you can check codes on dash by turning ingnition on/off 3 times with in 5 sec, then codes pop up on odometer.. p191 is rps switch.. oregon injection has great prices..

RPS rail pressure sensor.. it checks fuel pressure before the injector pump start going when you fire up the vehicle..
on the fuel rail, there is a sensor that is on top of fuel rail or at end..
it has a quick connect with 3 pins/wires red/black/green
did you get any codes when you turn ignition on/off/on/off/on dont turn motor.. i didnt know about this trick til i started having problems and someone posted.
