Been a while since I posted here. Hope all are doing well. Thought I'd post some old video I had from back in 2001 when they use to televise the Panoz racing series on Speedvision.

I was in the purple #89 car. Lost the race in the first corner, and never caught up. Finshed 2nd overall, just cruised around the track after it was apparent Johan had opened up too big a lead while I was working through traffic.

These were the original GTS cars with 385 hp and AP brakes. The GT cars were exactly the same as they were today. Hope you all get a kick out of it.

LOL !!! Just talked to Gary ; he says thanks for posting for posting his worst race ever ... Gary was taken out in corner 7 durring qualifing & crippled the #59 for the race .... Gary stated the obvious ; you can't win w/ a damaged set-up from the take-out & said he exhausted from the fight of the suspension damage ... BUT , he still took series champion ship that year / 2001 ... He would love to see us this summer !!!

If Gary hated that video, he'll really hate the one I have from Mosport! Very ugly and slow rain event with lots of wrecks. I ended up with a class win, but elected to play it safe and finish 3rd overall because the bulk of my GTS competitors all crashed! Didn't feel good, but it was the smart call.

As far as Gary goes, he did what he needed to do at Road Atlanta that day. He beat me for the Championship by one point. I'm sure it didn't fell good to him either, but it too was the smart call.
