Question TC street series/pro series

Looking at these torque converters it mentions pro series and street series and that their ment for "300-500 whp applications". Does that mean you need that kind of whp to begin with? my guess is it does. Also theirs a street series an pro series???.... I'm figuring it would be good for my car being an auto.... gimme heads up thnx

no you don't need that much HP. that is the window of where it will be the most efficient. if you don't have that much HP, then it may shift hard.
