98 taurus cd changer

i have a 98 with 6 cd changer in trunk, cd changer will not pop up, all fuses good, even one under hood,. could not find power to cd changer, any suggestions, what to check next?

All power for the CD changer (assuming it's factory) is provided on the red/yellow wire at terminal 9. Power to this wire comes from fuse 17 (20 amp) located in the engine compartment fuse/relay box. It also provides power to the rear control unit (RCU), so if your radio is working, the fuse is likely not the problem. You should be able to trace the red/yellow wire at terminal 14 of the RCU to the changer.
