Need help with aftermarket CD player install
Hi, i did a search but couldn't find much info. I have a 99 Jimmy, it has the factory AM/FM cassette, and i want to replace it with an aftermarket CD/MP3 player with AUX input . I saw the How to thread for installation, seems pretty straightforward, but could someone tell me a good install/mounting kit to use, and which snap together wiring harness to use?
Also, the rear door speakers don't work, i need to know are they 6 X 9's or what should i get? Anyone who's done it before have any tips or advice? |

Re: Need help with aftermarket CD player install
wal-mart, best buy, and just about any store that has car audio has harness adapters and mounting kits. just depends how you want it to fit and how you want the mounting to look/fit.
sorry, but i have a 2-door...i know the door speakers in mine are 6 ich round. the rear side panels are 6x9 no real advice to offer. the harness and mounting kit should be pretty self-explanatory. you might consider an antenna extension cable to free up some slack...
