Shifting problems
99 Accord EX 4 cyl automatic w/ 150k miles...
I was getting a p1739 error code. Swapped the 3rd gear pressure switch (not hard at all), but still having a problem with the car changing gears. It seems to stay in 'neutral' for a long time.
Going from 1-2 aint bad, but it's more noticeable going from 2-3 and 3-4. It goes to change gears, then it revs like its in neutral for a moment or 2 depending on how the RPM's are, then finally shifts into gear. I was hoping the pressure switch would help, but didnt. I still need to take the car in to wipe out the codes and see if it returns. Again, if you keep the RPM's down and start off nice and slow, its not as noticeable as when you gun it.
Would there be any other problems that would cause this behavior? I changed the tranny fluid a little while ago...
