How to wire a cap stop light on a 2009 silverado.

I have a 2wd 2009 Silverado, with towing package and Leer Cap. Does anyone know how to connect the brake light on the cap. I saw old posts that mention a chmsl wire, but i can't seem to find one. I would also like to wire up the dome light on the cap.

It needs to be wired into the brake light switch before it goes into turn signal switch and also wire a fuse into it.
On dome light do you want it to work off of cab dome light or seperate?
Most dome light switches use a ground circuit to turn on dome light.

If you do not have a wiring diagram on it get one.
