Starting Problems with Shifter
I have 1997 s10 blazer 4.3 w engine. I had the tranny rebuilt . The problem is a starting issue. It starts most of the time. When it don't start I have to move the shifter out of park than back in to park to start the blazer. What could the problem be.

Re: Starting Problems with Shifter
Neutral start switch out of adjustment. It's located on the trans where the shift cable connects. Take it back to the tranny shop and have them adjust it. They shouldn't charge you for it because they had it apart when they did the trans work.
