whats the gas mileage??

im getting ready to buy a 2004 colorado ls 2.8. it has 150,000 miles an it runs good! im wondering what kind of highway mpg's i will get. i drive 260 miles a day all highway, so im wanting something a little better on gas. i plan to install a cold air intake and a better exhaust also. would it be possible to get 30 ?

Close to 30mpg might be possible with getting your basic bolt on's to get the engine breathing better. I think that your actually going to end up getting 26-28mpg to be realistic but that is still great.. i get about 16mpg in my colorado lol.. but its a 4x4 4 door with the 3.5L and bigger tires

I've got a manual five speed 2.9 liter four cylinder extended cab work truck model from 2006 with only 28.800 miles. It got 17 highway and seems to get less the way I use it (short hauls. stop and start). Not what I expected.
