Trailblazer lost acceleration?
ok so i deleted the resonator and replaced it with a cherry bomb glasspack and deleted the muffler also. now it seems like it has really crappy acceleration..(getting on the freeway i have to floor it to get it up to speed hitting 5 rpms) im guessing its because its lost almost all its back pressure??? idk.. now if i were to add a muffler to it will that create a little more back pressure?? or how can i gain more back pressure??

Re: Trailblazer lost acceleration?
I would say you have too much back pressure, any check engine lite, how can you pass emissions?

Re: Trailblazer lost acceleration?
no check engine light or anything. it still has the catalytic converter so it should still pass emissions?

Re: Trailblazer lost acceleration?
I would disconnect the exhaust from the cat back and see how it runs, yes it will pass emissions with an oe cat in good shape.

Re: Trailblazer lost acceleration?
did that before i put the glasspack on. sounded like a full blown muscle car and accelerated really well at low rpm, but was REALLY loud.

Re: Trailblazer lost acceleration?
Ok let's see, if ran ok without the new muffler and died when the glaspak was hooked up, so what does that tell you?
