Help with reference of Porsche 911 GT3 chassis

Could someone help me please with reference photos of the chassis of the Porsche 911 GT3 Le Mans?
I’m intended to start assembling the Profil24´s Porsche 911 GT3 RSR Flying Lizard Le Mans 2007 and has got good shots of the entire car, but no one single good photo of the chassis.

Has this car all closed chassis (carbon fiber)?

As far as my understanding of the rules goes, the race versions of these cars must be based on the road cars and not a version of a road car (unlike those in the prototype classes); hence the chassis of the GT3RS is pretty much the same chassis of the road car but with all of the trim stripped out
i.e not a carbon fibre tub.

Can't help with any images though, sorry.

not that helpful but this is a shot of the interior of a 997 RSR car.


you can just about see the white of the body shell exposed from the centre panel to the bump for the gearbox as well as the white of the rear part of the tub.


another shot but of a Cup car (not RSR) but you can see the bare floor of the tub better.

In fact, I sent an e-mail to Jean-Philippe at Profil24 asking for help too.

And he said almost the same thing you did....

So, I guess I must use Tamiya´s Porsche 911 GT3 as a donnor!!!
