65 C10 Custom
Hey guys. I've been meaning to get back on here to start a work in progress thread of this one, but never got around to it... Anyway, I've been working on this one for a while now. Its my 1965 Chevrolet C-10 "Custom" It is from the Revell '65 Chevy Stepside 2 n' 1 kit.
My main goal with this one was to go for a nostalgic yet custom look all at the same time. I kept the body in primer black, formed custom side exit exhaust, hand painted dashboard trim, and made the bed from scratch using balsa wood and 1/16" aluminum pipe to give a more realistic feel for everything. Only downside is, my camera sucks and wouldn't show the detail if the dashboard or engine bay... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: 65 C10 Custom
HAHA, I used to have one of those mini-marshals way back when too!
Truck looks great, I'd love to see it with some better pics in daylight though.
