I have a pal who has a 97 Grand Am V6, base model i think? Well, any ways, he wants to Supercharge it? He's 18, and the cars been in a crash and it has about 87000 miles on it? Should he supercharge it? I said no, told him to trade it in, with a couple of g's, for a Gran Prix GTP/GTX supercharged. What do you guys think he should do?

Well it depends does he want to keep the car for several more years? Right now the car is not worth much and putting it charger on it would be a waste of money. The charger would cost more than the car is worth. I say save the money and buy another car!

Re: Supercharge or no Supercharge?
I just got a 1999 Grand Am SE 2D V6 3.4L about 72000 miles.($5,500)
Supercharger or a twintrbo or is it worth it I would like to keep the car and if so what one is better for hp like 0 to 120mph. My friend sad that i can put twintrbos on it and supercharge it. is that right????? |
