CRX DX to SI conversion

I'm trying to convert my DX harness into an SI harness so I can use the D16a distributor, resistor box, add the extra injectors and run it all to the PM6 ECU. I'm looking at the Hybrid websites but it seems to be talking about ZC conversion mostly. Is it necesarry for me to obtain a full SI salvaged harness and cut that apart or can I just add some wires to the DX harness to make it work ? If so, please explain. I've heard of splicing a few wires but not sure what works.
