CRX front clip

Hello. I also own a 86 CRX Si. It needed a new front clip. I also have a 91 crx laying around at the shop. The 86 CRX fenders extend farther back then the 91s. The radiator support is higher then the 91s. I ended up putting a diffrent front clip from another car. When Im finish ill post the pics from beginning to end.

Conversion

What do you want to convert? The whole car? In the magazine M & M(make and models) It had a 91 crx with a kit body on it. I changed the whole front. Bumper, frender, hood, and lights. Right now im trying to get it on the road. Im 80% done before it road worth. But more plans of body work is in the near future. The cost? The parts can be found cheap. Labor is a diffrent story. Time is Money. You can call around and ask body shops but the cheapest is if you do it yourself. If your in FL you can call B&B Customs at 954-921-2151. Ask for Joe tell him Mike told you to call. I plan on selling the car when Im finished. If your not in FL and you like the car. I can deliver it to you. Drive or Tow. Ill post pictures as soon as I can. I need to get a camera.

You can remove that spoiler and use one from a non-Si model. I can pick on up for about 30 bucks or so. The only thing you can do about the hood is customizing it. Putting a 91 wont be worth the time nor money. Add a scoop, duct, or vents. I have plans for the rear end also. But not a big issue right now. Ive aslo seen a back window cover. The ones like a camero has. Let me know if you need the parts.

it cost more to make a 87 look like a 88-91 than its worth. Its better to just buy a 88-91 for to many reasons. Easier to swap engines. better suspension and ton of kits if thats what your in to. But put a b16a in a old skool Si (85-87) and that would be a fast mutha. The kits really wont fit well since the newer crx is a lot wider and the hood line is lower. If you were good with fiberglassing you could cut a bumper and fiberglass it and it should be ok. A lot of time for something thats not worht it imo
