u can try polishing it with some Tamiya Compound, or any type of compound and see what that gets you, if its still not lookin good, only way i see it is to strip it and start over
orry to hear about it

Sorry to say brother but you will have to strip it. If the orange peel is real bad, compound wont get it out

PS.....Can you not get Tamiya sprays?

Try sanding paint with sand paper. First, 2000 grit, and if it seems taking too long to smooth the surface, switch to 1500 grit. If 1500 is not coarse enough, use 1200. I don't recommend anything coarser than that.
Make sure not to over spray the paint, and test spray on a scrap plastic first.

What kind of paint is that? Hopefully the "orange peel" you see isn't the paint crazing (surface melting) the plastic. If the body is crazed bad enough it's time for a new model.

EVERY hobby store in Toronto has Tamiya paints.
We have LOTS of shops.

Start sanding with maybe 1500 until the surface is all even.

If this worked out I think your good.

But if you kept sanding and rubbed through the paint and still had orange peel. You've got to stip and find new paint.
