99astro LS accelerater sticking

No problem in the morning when cool, if I stop the car the acccelerater will stick and the pedal is hard to depress when it does open, it starts with a jerk . If the car cools completly there is no problem. Otherwise the car drives normally it only happens when it is warm. Thank you for any help you can give me.Roter

Re: 99astro LS accelerater sticking

I'd suggest removing the air cleaner housing, MAF, and inlet duct/air horn on the throttle body. Using an inspection mirror and light, look into the throttle body for signs of varnish. It's very common to have the throttle plate stick closed in the throttle body bore as you describe due to buildup in the TB, and a simple cleaning with a spray-type carburetor cleaner will do nicely to free up the throttle plate.
