348 Twin Turbo custom

So I'd built a 348 before, and wanted to do another, but decided that stock wasn't the way to go. But I did want to keep the look and feel of the original car, just have some upgrades. I decided with all the Ferrari parts I had lying around that I would use only Ferrari parts on this one.

This is the Testors kit, 348 TS converted to a TB. I dropped an F40 twin turbo intake on it, redid the tubing in solder, as well as seats from the same. A 360 donated wheels and tires and Enzo brakes provide the stopping power. The engine cover came from a 512 Keonig special.

The last 100 348s shipped to the US were designated serie speciale, and I went with that look on the tail lights, although taking some artistic liberty also. I removed the side strakes to clean up the sides and painted it moss green automotive paint left over from a friends 1:1 scale project.

Re: 348 Twin Turbo custom

I like most of it, though the side mirrors are a bit big. Great color.
