Funky Stearing Problem

You know when your alignment is off a little ur steering wheel tilts a little one way? Well today it started tilting the other way. And it switches like everycorner I take, and worse even. Like it will be tilting more. I take a turn and it'll be tilted one way, then I take another turn and it'll tilt the other way. (when driving straight) What's going on? I checked the lugs on the front wheels and they are on tight.

MMmmm.. happened to me before. Well I think you should go get your alignment checked. Because you know front wheel drive tires get really mis-aligned after like... 6,000 miles or so. It may be that the inside tread of your tire is gone, and your basically rolling on steel radials. But yea.. go pay the $20 somthin and just get them realigned and checked. Maybe some new tires too.

my car was doing kinda the same thing, i got new tires, went to get an alignment, and they said my outter tierods were F***ed so i had to replace those too

my right front wheel would shake back and forth kinda like it wasnt on all the way it moved probally close to an inch in each directions heh

but when i would drive it would pull left and all that, but if i hit bumps or soemthing like that, it would just take off in the other direction and s***

but once i got all that fixed it seems ok

I've driven my car 79,000 miles, and the alignment is still right-on!
But then, I haven't driven over any curbs or gone 4-wheelin', either, and I stay on the pavement.

LOL - too bad you don't live up here where there are potholes and shit your whole car could fall into

Yeah dude..I think your tierods or some other steering part is out of whack...you should get it checked before you are trying to drive down the road with your wheels in opposite directions --> / \

Ok, just for all your knowledge out there, I'll tell you what it was, the damn Rack&Pinion bolts were GONE! The 2 bolts that hold the whole rack to the frame fell out somehow. Can you believe that shit? My steering was just sliding back and forth.
