Question Shock Recomendations

I am looking to see if anyone out there has any shock recomendations. I am currently running the Bilsteins on my Silverado 4x4. They work good, but they are a little rough on high speed, sharp impacts such as expansion joints, and un even pavement. When you hit larger bumps they work great. Does anyone have any experience with any other shocks? What's your opinion?

I put Edelbrock Performer IAS shocks on a Dodge Dakota Ext Cab 4x4 I had.
They were a great improvement to the factory ones.
You have to remember vehicles are assembled from parts supplied by the lowest bidder.
