1. ok, the muffler is what makes each exhaust sound different, right?
2. I like the sound of the Mugen Twin Loop, and i dont think they make one for my car, so could i buy one for a 5th generation prelude and take it to a muffler shop and have them re-route the piping? 3. Never saw one, but does Mugen make like a 2.5 or 3 inch pipe for turbo use? 4. Why is Mugen so expensive? Quality? Dyno tuned? Thanks |

1. any exhaust no matter what size the pipin and what muffler it has. it will give different sound. Plus, the rosonator makes all the difference. some are longer than others, fatter than others, and are designed from the inside different.

the muffler and weither or not you have a resonator or not, mostly defines the tune of your car.
any muffler shop could custom make you some pipes. ive not heard of any mugen turbo exhaust either. and you are paying for years of research, the quality of the materials and workmanship, and the loyalty of hondas own tuning company.
